Calling all Philanthropists…..
Make a tax deductable donation and support Anthony Garcia create a unique and emotive short film to be launched at the Brisbane Powerhouse. Working in collaboration with award winning local film Director Peter Ireland, credited Producer Veronica Fury (www.furyproductions.com), Anthony is creating an immersive short film “Breathing Underwater”,  inspired by our evolving urban life experience.  This unique event sees the evocative music of guitarist composer Anthony Garcia melded with film for the first time.  Set to the score Breathing Underwater, the title track of Garcia’s new CD release of the same name, this emotive short film uses the contrasting natural beauty of Brisbane’s urban landscape as a backdrop.

With the support of the Brisbane City Council, Creative Sparks Grant, Anthony is embarking into the genre of film with the production of a new short film, Breathing Underwater.   This will be the first time his evocative music will be set to vision and the film is due for release November 2010.  We will keep you posted as to when screenings will be taking place!
